New Image Art presented David Ellis’ latest solo exhibition Mola Salsa this past Saturday night. 15 new works on paper all exploring the idea of animal spirits and transformation were on display throughout the gallery. In addition to the works shown, Ellis introduced his most recent motion painting Animal in the project room.
During the majority of the evening, Ellis hung out in the project room creating a new piece and engaging in conversation to gallery goers who were curious about Animal. Enjoy the photos from opening night below, but come out to New Image Art to view these highly detailed works in person. Show runs until March 12th.
