SoCal rockers, No Doubt, will be releasing their first album in over 10 years and have brought El Mac on board to create the cover art. Having been a long time fan and collector of the street artist’s work, Gwen Stefani decided to approach El Mac to collaborate for ‘Push and Shove’- an opportunity the artist couldn’t pass up . The process began with a photo shoot at Katherine Cone Gallery (seen above), followed by several weeks of El Mac painting four separate portraits on wood panel in his signature aesthetic. ’Push and Shove’ comes out September 25th, but in the meantime get a peek of the artwork below.
