In preparation for his solo debut at Michael Kohn Gallery, Los Angeles artist RETNA has taken over the gallery’s outside walls. True to form, the artist was seen writing with headphones on so as to tune the chaos of the city out and tune into a creative, meditative state.
The last time we saw RETNA in an indoor setting was at MoCA’s critically acclaimed ‘Art in the Streets’ exhibit back in April 2011. Since then, the artist has been working non-stop and we can say with confidence that we’re not the only Angeleno waiting in anticipation for RETNA’s new exhibit.
