Daniel Rolnik

See that mug up there? That mug is the reason why Daniel Rolnik has earned the title as “Los Angeles’s most adorable art critic”.  Over the past few years, Daniel has charmed LA with his enthusiasm and unique perspective as he’s conducted numerous interviews for Argot & Ochre, Beautiful Decay, Fecal Face, Hi-Fructose…the list goes on. But as of October 6th, Daniel can add curator to his resume with the debut of  ’Inter-Views’, a group exhibition of over 90 works hosted by CURIO by AFN.

‘Inter-Views’ is as diverse and eclectic as Daniel’s own aesthetic taste. From the modernist approach of Joshua Petker’s wall of paintings to the ice cream bucket sculptures of Josh Atlas to Scott Belcastro’s bohemian wood sculpture to the naughty renderings of Ellen Schinderman and Boris Hoppek, there was something for everyone to gasp, gawk, and awe at. Unifying the exhibit was the knowledge that nearly every artist on display had been interviewed by Daniel at one point or another. So get into the mind of Daniel Rolnik and soak up this lovable arts writer’s beloved artists at CURIO by AFN.
